The translation of the term Chi Kung is “energy work” and has been used for thousands of years in China to promote good health.
These gentle and simple Tai Chi type movement exercises can be done sitting or standing and are easy to do!
Distress and disease in the body are the result of external conditions such as cold, damp, wind, etc. overpowering the internal conditions of the body. Internal conditions can be weakened in many ways such as poor diet, too little rest, and by simply growing older. When we build our internal energy through methods of Chi Kung we are better able to maintain a balance between the external and internal conditions.
Chi Kung helps also helps increase circulation and utilize the body’s energy to nourish the internal organs. These exercises will also assist with preventing chronic areas of muscular tension and emotional stress. Chi Kung is a powerful tool that trains us to use our internal energy to create mental clarity, emotional balance and good health
For all ages and levels Thursday and/or Saturday 10am. Gentle Tai Chi like movements and yoga like stretches move and utilize our internal energy, preventing chronic areas of muscular tension and emotional stress. 6 week series starting June 5th and/or 7th $55.00 per 6 classes.
